Family/Fiancée Visas
Whether petitioning for family members outside the United States to join you, or trying to resolve issues for family members already in the United States, we can help.
Fiance Visa
If you are a U.S. citizen, you can file a petition for a foreign fiance(e) to travel to the United States to get married. The K-1 visa itself is a nonimmigrant visa that allows your foreign fiance(e) to enter the United States one time and stay for 90 days. If a marriage does not take place during the 90 day period, the foreign fiance(e) must return overseas. If the marriage does take place, the fiance(e) can petition to adjust his or her status to legal permanent residency.
Family Visas
There are many types of petitions available for individuals who are not immediate relatives of United States Citizens. Persons in this group consist of – siblings of US Citizens, Adult children of US Citizens (married and unmarried), and Spouses and children of Green Card holders. The wait times to eventually immigrate based on these petitions can vary and are oftentimes very lengthy. However, there are sometimes loopholes in the law that allow a person to immigrate much more quickly. With our assistance, we will help you determine if you fall into any of the categories that would allow for your visa to be processed in a more timely manner.
